Records of the Grand Historian - The Records of the Grand Historian or the Records of the Grand Historian of China (), written from 109 BC to 91 BC, was the magnum opus of Sima Qian, in which he recounted Chinese history from the time of the mythical Yellow Emperor until his own time. As the first systematic Chinese historical text, it tremendously influenced Chinese historiography and prose, and is comparable to Herodotus and his Historiai.

Records of the Historian - Records of the Historian or shiji written 2000 years ago by Grand Historian Sima Qian during the Han dynasty is one of the greatest works produced by China. Aspects of Han society, historical figures, and realistic narratives form the basic template for further Chinese historical records, as well as Korean historical records, from then on.

Historian's fallacy - The historian's fallacy is a logical fallacy that occurs when one assumes that decision makers of the past viewed events from the same perspective and having the same information as those subsequently analyzing the decision. It is not to be confused with presentism, a mode of historical analysis in which present-day ideas (such as moral standards) are projected into the past.
